Our Team

Our people are our most valuable asset. Corinthian University utilizes both volunteer and professional staff to achieve the goals of our mission in alignment with our values. Listed below are our current organizational strategy. All people roles and organizational groups are equally important and interdependant on each other.

Our Supporters

We would not be able to carry out our mission as successfully as we do without those organizations who believe in us and share our vision including our Sponsors and our Strategic Partners. We continuously invest energy into our relationships for the mutual benefit of both parties.

Board of Directors

Our Board of Directors is comprised of 5 people dedicated to insuring the financial and mission success of the organization. This board is the voting body of the organization. The board accepts no compensation for their work in alignment with our Corinthian values.

Administrative Directors

Our Administrative Directors are volunteers who bring their career skills with them to help with business management functions necessary to run an organization properly, including Human Resources, IT, Accounting, Registrar, Marketing, and Asset Management.

Program Directors

Our Program Directors are also a group of dedicated volunteers who epitomize of the Corinthian spirit. They are the individuals who envision a program, constantly improve it,  and bring it into existence each and every year.

Volunteer Instructors

Our Volunteer Instructors may not accept compensation but its not because they are not skilled and certified. Many of them are licensed Captains and all of them have deep knowledge and long experience with sailing, especially on Lake Michigan.

Professional Instructors

Our Professional Instructors are our only paid staff for good reason. They help to insure we deliver a high quality educational experience in a safe and fun learning environment.

Students

Our students are our future. We open our doors and invite them in. We strive to pass on to them a love of the sport and to instill our values in them so that one day they can replace us and continue to carry on our mission.
