Statement of Mission and Values

Our Mission and Values reflect our creation by the Chicago Corinthian Yacht Club to promote educational programming in line with its mission and by our public and private relationship of trust with the Chicago Park District and the management of the harbor system. 

Our Mission

We are dedicated to promoting education in the nautical arts to both adults and youth, encouraging proficiency in safe and expert boat handling and encouraging lifetime involvement in the sport of yachting. Through mentoring, tutoring, and a variety of educational services, we provide comprehensive learning experiences in sailing, boating, and watercraft operation for both youth and adults.
